The immediate campground environment ranges from riparian willows and cottonwoods up through tall pines, oaks, ceanothus, toyon and blackberries. WebAug 11, 2024 · We stayed at here the night before and the nights after rafting the South Fork of the American River. Being able to camp right at the put in made the whole rafting trip so easy and enjoyable. Lotus camp is well run. We were very impressed with how well the campground is run and maintained. The weekends are crazy busy with rafters.
