I have a similar problem with batteries that are dead in 24 hours. The parasitic drain on the system with everything off is only 0.38A which should be acceptable. The GPR tests fine and if it wasn't, the draw would be much larger. The batteries are almost new.

At 9 volts, it may draw 250 amps to do the job. At 8 1/2 volts, it may go to 275 amps. These windings in the motor in this example were only designed to draw 200 amps. So I disconnected one battery (neg. terminal only) put the amp meter in line with the negative wire and terminal and waited a half hour.
