WebI've found quite a few posts claiming that 5th gears can be swapped between all R series boxes and result in different overall drive gears depending on the main shaft. However, I haven't found anyone who as actually DONE one of these swaps. I'm about to split open my mk3 Supra R154 for a rebuild and would like to change the 5th to something longer. He checks everything, replaces any worn parts, and installs new syncronizers, springs, and other miscellaneous bits.
