NEVER MUTATE THE STATE In the example above, this means, that you have to create a whole new array with whole new objects for react to pick up the changes. For example const [data, setData] = useState ( []) In another hook: WebIf you do not want change detection to be automatically done, then set the grid property suppressChangeDetection=true. This will stop the change detection process firing when the above events happen. Ideally you should not want to turn off change detection, however the option is there if you choose to turn it off.

Now when I flip over to my browser (Frame deactivation), refresh the browser (have to have cache disabled), the new bundles are loaded. Then I copied the previously working react project folder (only frontend) pasted it into the new project I am starting. Removed all the code related to old project and started using it.
